These are some of the photos from our trip to Puerto Vallarta. Me and Becky, and our good friends Debbie and Dennis Hughes, traveled to Puerto Vallarta for a week of sun 'n fun. For me and Becky it was our first scuba diving trip. We both made our PADI open water certification dives on this trip.

The scuba diving was great! We had an awesome encounter with a giant manta on our first dive, and we saw several others at the surface. A surprise face-to-face meeting with one of these huge creatures 60 feet underwater is a great way to get your heart pumping! We saw humpback whales surfacing on the ride out, and we heard them singing (talking?) during the dives. There were eagle rays, spotted morays, and lots of other fish and stuff to watch. The people at Pacific Scuba (pacificscuba.com.mx) did an excellent job. I highly recommended them if you ever get a chance to dive in Puerto Vallarta. Many thanks Javier and Armando!

Our two-bedroom suite at the Velas Vallarta Suite Resort (velasvallarta.com) was just fantastic! We'd like to thank all of the nice people at the Velas Vallarta. They made our stay in Puerto Vallarta a wonderful, fun, and very comfortable experience. I highly recommend that you stay there some time. You will not regret it.
